§81.1 Reputation is Non-Purchasable

Reputation, as governed by RWC-01, is earned through attested contribution and cannot be acquired, boosted, transferred, or accelerated by payment. Any surface that offers ‘reputation boost’ as a priced product violates RWC-01 and is constitutionally void.

Reputation is earned. Visibility is bought. They are not the same.

§81.2 Visibility is Priceable

Visibility — placement in a feed, indexing priority, promotional surface, narrative amplification through Civilization media channels — is a declared, priceable service class. Visibility does NOT confer trust, weight in governance, or reputation lineage.

  1. §81.2.a
    Disclosure

Every priced visibility placement MUST be disclosed as such on the surface where it appears.

  2. §81.2.b
    No weight transfer

Priced visibility MUST NOT alter RWC-01 weights, quorum outcomes, or trust attestations.

  3. §81.2.c
    Governance-bounded

Visibility categories are ratified under GPL-01.

§81.3 Renaming Rule

Any legacy surface referring to ‘reputation boost’, ‘reputation acceleration’, ‘trust boost’, or equivalent wording SHALL be renamed to a VNA-01 visibility category (e.g. narrative amplification, featured placement, indexing priority). KEP-01 §74.2.VII enforces the rename on forward-facing surfaces.

§81.4 Treasury Integration

Visibility revenue is Civilization Revenue and enters the Treasury Runtime Waterfall under TRT-01. Organs never retain visibility fees.
