ARTICLE XV/RATIFIED 12.07.24/REVISION 1.0.0

Civilization Presence

The surfaces through which the civilization remains visible to the world — continuous, distributed, and operationally coherent.

§22.1 Presence Function

Civilization presence systems exist to maintain visible civilization continuity across external environments. Presence reinforces awareness, interoperability recognition, infrastructure legitimacy, runtime discoverability, and the gravitational pull by which the civilization draws coordination toward itself.

§22.2 Persistent Visibility

Civilization presence remains continuous, distributed, interoperable, semantically aligned, and operationally coherent. Visibility is not an event. It is a condition.

§22.3 Presence Infrastructure

Civilization presence operates through many surfaces and exactly one voice.

  1. §22.3.a
    Media systems

Editorial and broadcast surfaces carrying civilization narrative.

  2. §22.3.b
    Runtime gateways

Operational surfaces through which the civilization becomes legible at runtime.

  3. §22.3.c
    Intelligence surfaces

Agent-facing interfaces through which synthetic participants read the civilization.

  4. §22.3.d
    Communication layers

Channels that carry signal between organs and the world.

  5. §22.3.e
    Civilization publications

The Codex, the registry, and the public record.

  6. §22.3.f
    Interoperability interfaces

Surfaces through which adjacent systems coordinate with the civilization.

  7. §22.3.g
    Propagation systems

The distribution mechanisms by which presence persists at scale.

§22.4 Presence Integrity

No civilization presence surface may contradict constitutional doctrine, fragment civilization identity, create isolated narratives, weaken interoperability clarity, or undermine treasury convergence. The voice is one; the surfaces are many.

§22.5 Civilization Gravity

As civilization continuity, interoperability and runtime capability increase, civilization visibility and external gravity increase proportionally. Gravity is the consequence of coherence, not the substitute for it.

Gravity is what coherence looks like from a distance.
