ARTICLE XIV/RATIFIED 10.07.24/REVISION 1.0.0

Narrative Doctrine

How the civilization tells itself to itself, and to every system that must coordinate with it — preserving identity, coherence and semantic continuity across time.

§21.1 Narrative Function

Narrative exists to preserve and propagate civilization continuity across humans, AI agents, infrastructures and evolving runtime environments.

It is not advertising. It is not short-term persuasion. It is not isolated media production. Narrative is the means by which the civilization remains legible to itself across the systems that compose it.

  1. §21.1.a
    Identity preservation

Preserve the civilization's identity across organs, surfaces and epochs.

  2. §21.1.b
    Coherence propagation

Carry constitutional meaning into every surface that speaks for the civilization.

  3. §21.1.c
    Semantic continuity

Hold the vocabulary stable across the changing media through which it is told.

  4. §21.1.d
    Interoperability awareness

Make the bindings between organs visible to those who must coordinate with them.

  5. §21.1.e
    Visibility amplification

Amplify civilization presence without distorting it.

Narrative is the discipline by which a civilization remains legible to itself.

§21.2 Continuity Propagation

Civilization narrative systems continuously reinforce constitutional continuity, civilization legitimacy, interoperability understanding, runtime visibility, and operational awareness. What is told carelessly is eventually forgotten honestly.

§21.3 Narrative Integrity

Narrative remains constitutionally aligned, runtime-consistent, semantically coherent, anti-fragmentation compliant, and civilization-grade. The civilization speaks with a single voice across many surfaces — or it does not speak at all.

§21.4 Anti-Degradation Principle

Narrative systems avoid fragmentation, contradiction, hype distortion, speculative manipulation, isolated product narratives, and the short-term attention extraction logic that corrodes every system it touches.

§21.5 Civilization Narrative Principle

Civilization narrative exists to preserve and propagate civilization continuity across evolving systems and forms of intelligence.
